Bambini City is a small-scale city built entirely for children aged 0 to 7, and it does the concept properly. Not a padded room with a few plastic kitchens. Six themed buildings, each with a different role to inhabit: a market stall where kids fill baskets and run the till, a car repair workshop with actual tools to tinker with, a vet’s surgery for treating soft toy patients, a mini restaurant, a police station, and a hair salon with all the kit. Children move between them freely, decide what they want to be, and generally run the place. Parents get to sit in the café and let that happen.
The café serves proper food, bagels, cheesecake, banana waffles and a matcha that visitors speak highly of. Outside food isn’t permitted for hygiene reasons, but you can bring water bottles. The building is fully barrier-free, ground-level and stroller and wheelchair accessible.
The Booking System
Bambini City runs on timed sessions rather than open hours. Weekday slots are two hours; weekend and holiday slots are two and a half hours. Slots are deliberately limited to keep numbers low and the space calm. Online booking is strongly recommended, especially at weekends and in bad weather when demand spikes. Walk-ins are possible but not guaranteed.
